Premier League Primary Stars Returns!
The Premier League Primary Stars Kit and Equipment Scheme is back! Registered primary schools up and down the country can now access free (yes, free!) Nike kit or equipment which can be used across the curriculum.

The scheme, which is delivered by the Football Foundation, aims to inspire children to learn, be active and develop important life skills.

The catch? There isn't one. As long as the school hasn't received kit or equipment in the past two seasons, you can apply online today:

With a new focus on positivity, through a new campaign — We Only Do Positive — The FA and Football Foundation aim to ensure that all grassroots footballers are able to play in a safe, fun and inclusive environment.

A refreshed equipment scheme forms a key part of this new campaign and we're calling on all clubs, leagues and County FA's up and down the country to use the equipment to help promote a positive match day and training environment.

A 50% discount is available on Respect equipment packs whilst stocks last. Find out more and claim your discount by clicking below:

Earlier this month, we caught up with former Everton FC midfielder, Graham Stuart, at the official unveiling of the club’s new community facility — The Blue Base.

Graham was joined by fellow club ambassador, Ian Snodin, in the role of bingo caller as the pair led a game of
Blue Bingo’ with the charity's older participants.

After the game, we asked Graham to recall some memorable moments from his career in our
Teammates’ feature.

Find out who was the best player he played with, the best goal he scored and which former roommate had a very unusual sleeping habit! Click here

Over the years we've been lucky enough to be supported by a number of ex-professional footballers with some great stories to tell. So for this month's Top Five, we've collated five of our favourite anecdotes captured on video at Football Foundation openings.
1Graeme Le Saux on Zolas missing pages

In 2013, we spoke to former Chelsea FC and England left-back, Graeme Le Saux, who was visiting Hambledon FC to present a cheque for £5,000. In an interview with the Foundation, Graeme recalled the one and only time he saw Gianfranco Zola 'lose the plot' following a very cheeky dressing room prank.

4. Steve Bull on the clubs he turned down to stay at Wolves

These days it's not often a player can boast playing over 400 games for one club and be truly recognised as a club legend.

Former Wolverhampton Wanderers and England striker, Steve Bull, is more than a club legend to Wolves fans. A cult hero, who broke numerous club records during his time at the club and now has a stand named after him at the club stadium, Bull spoke to the Foundation cameras after opening the brand new all-weather pitch in Walsall.

During the interview, Bull revealed the four chances he had to leave the club and which teams were interested in his services.
5. Graham Stuart

Amongst many of the great stories Graham told the Football Foundation cameras when he spoke to us at the opening of Everton FC's 'The Blue Base', was one regarding the sleeping habits of a certain ex-England goalkeeper.
