Premier League Writing Stars is back! The League's poetry competition returns for a second year, giving children aged 5-11 across England and Wales the chance to display their creativity by writing all forms of poetry on the theme of diversity.

Participation bolstered thanks to FA funding

The FA has partnered with Stonewall FC, Britain's most successful LGBT football club, to make history at Wembley later this month. The Middlesex County Football League club will take on Wilberforce Wanderers AFC in a top-of-the-table clash at the national stadium - the first time a non-league seasonal fixture has been hosted at the stadium.

Everton star Mason Holgate joined Labour MP, Ed Miliband, to unveil a new changing pavilion at boyhood club, AFC Bentley recently. The £50,000 grant from the Premier League, through the Football Stadia Improvement Fund, enabled the Step 7 club to replace old, dilapidated portable cabins previously used as changing rooms with a new changing pavilion which includes a kitchen and hospitality area.

Last month, we were joined by Football Foundation Ambassador and talkSPORT presenter, Georgie Bingham, to officially unveil an impressive new facility at Samuel Ryder Academy in Hertfordshire. 

The school is named after Samuel Ryder, who established the Ryder Cup in 1926, so we challenged Georgie to try and name which teams ten members of the European Ryder Cup team supported.

Earlier this month, internationally acclaimed artist Mark Wallinger launched 'One World', a new co-commissioned piece of work inspired by the famous World War Christmas truce of 1914.  

He has transformed the football into a globe of the world and in partnership with the Football Foundation, released a limited edition of the footballs to community projects with the request that each person uploads a #OneWorld video to social media.
