Slow down
Hey readers,

I hope you are alright and have spent a nice week-end. Today I'm actully writing for myself as much as I am writing for you. I know that life is fast, life is messy, sometumes even scary but you have the right to... slow down.

Allow yourself a break
Listen, I'm a rather slow person, and I shouldn't be afraid to admit it. I'm a slow learner, slow thinker, probably even a slow writer, but it doesn't make me less great at what I do. 🤷🏾‍♂️ Yet, I always felt this pressure to go fast, to always be on the move, to never stop.
"You'll sleep when you're dead"  they say.

But... I don't want to wait until someone finally allows me to rest. And you shouldn't either. Remember that self care and resting is important if you want to continue striving and be amazing at what you do. It's okay to slow down sometimes, chances are you will be able to run even faster afterwards and who knows... maybe even find some shortcuts that all the others are missing 🤷🏾‍♂️.
— What I learned this week
🎥  What I'm watching to • "The skill you're slowly losing". I loved tgis week's video by Thomas Frank about how to build (or prevent losing) resilience.
📱  One App I'm loving: Todoist • I've recently moved (back) from Things 3 to Todoist and I'm absolutely loving the app again since they redesigned it. I actually quite changed the rest of my gears. I might update you more on apps and tools I'm using in the upcoming weeks.
— What I created for you this week
Not just one, but two new posts for you this week!
January 2020 is a wrap!
January was... the longest month of my life. Here is what I got around achieving and learning!
Are Standing Desks worth it ?
I had the opportunity to partner with Anthrodesk and try their "Standing Desk Converter.
Alright, that's all for me this week! Thank you once more for reading. If you find some value in this issue, don't hesitate to recommend it to your friends! They can subscribe here.
See you next week,
Mathieu Céraline.
