|Don't chase inspiration
Often we spend our precious time chasing after productivity and achievements, wanting to be active and busy all the time only to result in... well, not much. We chase the inspiration so much that it gets shy and doesn’t want to come anymore. Just like in shifting sand, we struggle and we fight, only to realize that we are the only one in the ring.
Think of inspiration as a cat. If you ever had any of these cute fluffy creatures, you’d know that they don’t recognize any master. Cats are proud and the more you’ll try to chase after them or call them, the more they will ignore you. But the moment you decide to do something else, they’ll come at you to cuddle... usually when you’re trying to study or work 😅.
Moral of the story: don’t try to master cats. They’ll master you before you master them 😿. Always do your best and create time (put cat food around) for inspiration to come, but don’t wait around for it.
