Betty White, legendary actress and animal welfare advocate, would have been 101 years old on January 17. A year ago, people like you started the #BettyWhiteChallenge in her memory, and SCARS was thrilled to benefit from your generosity. Let's keep the momentum going in Betty's memory. Thank you for being a friend for animals in need. Please donate on January 17 in her memory.
Animals don't lie. Animals don't criticize. If animals have moody days, they handle them better than humans do." - Betty White
Your donations help new intakes like Jensen. Here is a note from his foster home.
“My new foster boy Jensen had a rough day. As soon as SCARS got him, he went straight into the vet where we found out he'd been attacked by a dog prior to coming to us (It appears twice in fact). Luckily, the vet agreed to stay a little later to stitch him up and do his neuter since he'd already be sedated anyhow. The poor little guy had a tough day, but he can look forward to a great future."
