Update 1 for Get Off My Lawn!

Thank you for subscribing for updates for A Whim Away's upcoming new book, Get Off My Lawn!

Get Off My Lawn! follows ninety-year-old Olivia as her world is turned upside down by her seven-year-old neighbour, Dotty. It was written by Australian author Anna Ceguerra (me). For my international audience, it means we have Australian spellings, words, settings, and even the audiobook is narrated in an Australian accent!

In these newsletters, I hope to give you an insight on the production process, talking about the steps from a completed manuscript to a published book.

Right now, I am in the process of implementing the developmental feedback by the fabulous Katie Yee of bluejayes.com. Katie looked at the plot, themes, characters etc of my book, and told me what she felt worked well, and what could be improved.

Implementing the changes will take around two weeks, as I work with my writing mentor Adam. He and I have been working together for over a year now, he's my major sounding board for my stories.
