Help Meadowside Nature Center out by counting bird sightings at the Rock Creek Park in Rockville, MD! We start bright and early at 8am for an hour hike before enjoying hot cocoa and coffee!
Rock Creek Park is a 1,800 acres National Park on land that was stolen from two Native American Tribes: Piscataway and Nacotchtank (Anacostan). Rock Creek Park was the third National Park established in the United States of America in 1890 after Yellowstone (1872) and Mackinac National Park (1875). The park is home to many animals and birds, some of which we might get to see on the walk with Meadowside Nature Center.
Book guides, binoculars, and ASL interpreters will be provided.
