Greetings
🌧️💧 Curious about how your city handles stormwater and sewer services? Dive into the details and hear about recommended rate changes tonight!
The SE Uplift staff have been busy collecting neighborhood land use contact information and notifying the city of changes in the district. During this process, they discovered a problem within the city's website, but it has now been fixed. This means that required notifications and development updates can reach the appropriate contacts. It's important to verify that the information on your neighborhood profile is up to date and includes a universal email that remains constant even if there are changes in the who handles the role.
🙌🏽🎉 Block parties are a great way to connect with neighbors and create temporary changes to local traffic patterns. The Community Safety Division at the Portland Office of Management & Finance is now accepting applications for Party On, Portland! Party On, Portland happens for the first two weeks in August and allow neighbors to shut down local traffic service streets and receive waivers on noise variance permits for block parties. Portland Parks & Recreation will also allow one free event permit per neighborhood association during this time. Register by June 23rd and reimagine your neighborhood block!
You still have opportunity to review the Recommended Draft Land Use & Transportation Committee Charter. Feedback is invited by all people interested.
