Chinese Ambassador Calls on Ambassador Abdali

Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to India, H.E Luo Zhaohui called on Ambassador Abdali at the latter’s office on April 11, 2017.
The two envoys exchanged views on a wide range of issues concerning the region, notably the menace of terrorism, drug trafficking, peace process in Afghanistan and the need for concerted efforts to deal with the challenges that affect the entire region. FULL STORY

        Afghan Embassy and ICCR to Jointly Organize           IndoAfghan Cultural Week

H.E. Dr. Shaida Abdali met with Shri Amarndra Khatua, Director General-Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) at the latter’s office on April 3, 2017.

The purpose of the meeting was to seek ICCR‘s partnership with the Afghan Embassy in co-organizing the Indo-Afghan cultural week in order to further strengthen cultural ties between the two friendly nations. FULL STORY

In a meeting with H.E Ambassador Abdali on Monday, the Country Manager-Asian & Gulf Region International Business Escorts Agri Machinery, Mittil Kumar expressed his company’s interest to set up a distributing Unit in joint venture form with a local company in Afghanistan. FULL STORY

Embassy’s Economic Counselor Encourages Indian Companies to Invest in Afghanistan

In his efforts to encourage Indian companies to invest in Afghanistan, the Economic Counselor of the Embassy, Ahmad Shoaib Habibi met with the Vice President – Afghanistan Development and Investment Mission (ADIM), at the Embassy on 6th April 2016.

Briefing the embassy’s economic counselor on his company’s investment in Afghanistan, Sharma said “his company has completed construction of a 70 bed Specialty Secondary Care Hospital in Kabul.” He requested the embassy to facilitate supply of medicine to Afghanistan by Indian Pharmaceutical companies so that hospitals such as his will not face shortage of medicine.
