Program Update
The Community Incentive Program is well underway. The intention is to give our members more ways to heal trauma while boosting their health in all areas of life - physically, emotionally, mentally, and socially.
Our Wellness Center members - which now includes justice-involved individuals on parole and probation - have access to holistic therapies and activities that are generally not covered by insurance. This program alleviates the financial barrier between our members and these mood-lifting, skill-building activities.
Already, under this program, our members have accessed:
Dance to Be Free - a weekly, cathartic dance practice originally designed for women behind prison walls
Individual and Family Memberships to the Longmont Rec Center for access to a wide array of health-promoting classes, the gym, and of course the pool
Boxing Class with our Peer Mentor through Phoenix Multi-sport, a sober active community
Music Therapy with our partner Soundwell Music Therapy
In April, we are launching Nutrition Classes with a licensed dietician
Be sure to follow us on Facebook for regular updates on this life-changing program.
This program is funded by the CCHA, the City of Longmont, and Boulder County.
