Introduction of a RAMS member

My name is Steffi. I am 22 years old and currently in my first year of the Master Biomedical Science. Since half a year I am member of the RAMS Symposium committee where I am responsible for taking the minutes. I got involved in the committee because I wanted to organize symposia that are not only focussed on medical students, but also reaching the biomedical students. I hope to achieve this by introducing topics that are more focussed on research and different aspects than solely medicine. I hope to see you at our next symposium!
New edition of RAMS

Tired of reading all those articles on the same subject? Do not distress yourself. Take a break and find the 6th edition of RAMS!
Find out more about new potential biomarkers for bladder cancer, the importance of having a daily breakfast or the future of medical research; BIG DATA. Prefer to delve into recent insights on the safety of the HPV vaccine? Our 6th edition has it all!

Read the November edition online, download the PDF version or find the RAMS in real life at the medical faculty building (in the bookshelf near the entrance or at the study square).
RAMS Symposium "Over mijn lijk" was a success!

The RAMS Symposium "Over mijn lijk" on October 31st was well attended. Five experts on forensic medicine shared their views from different perspectives of the relatively unknown profession, including child abuse, odontology, tunnel vision and the assassination of Willem van Oranje.

Next spring there will be another symposium. Be there!
If you have news, an update or anything else that might be relevant for RAMS members, please share it with us! Send an E-mail to public-relations.rams@ru.nl.
