Call for students to join the ESU Quality Assurance Student Experts’ Pool for the membership term 2021/2022
The Steering Committee of ESU’s Quality Assurance (QA) Student Experts’ Pool opens a call for 90 members for the membership term 2021/2022.
All applications must be submitted until 14th of June, 2021 at 23:59 CEST by filling out the application form and uploading the necessary documents.
Next Generation EU: joint statement of student and youth organisations
In a joint statement, ESU, OBESSU, the Lifelong Learning Platform, the European Youth Forum and the European Disability Forum called for robust investment on education on youth within the National Recovery and Resilience Plans, for expanded social protections measures for youth, as well as an effective consultations framework of student, youth and civil society organisations in the implementation and design of the plans.

National legislation and procedures compliant with the Lisbon Recognition Convention. Challenges and possible ways forward to achieving automatic recognition at national level
TPG-LRC is successfully concluded by the organisation of the final conference
Conference “Recognition in the European Higher Education Area: outlining the way forward” held on the 25th of May 2021 in the framework of the EU co-funded project “Thematic Peer Group on the implementation of the Lisbon Recognition Convention in EHEA countries” is completed, therefore announcing the completion of the Bologna Thematic Peer Group B on the implementation of the Lisbon recognition convention.
Amnesty International Report: the stories of the Belarusian students facing repression
Amnesty International published a report with the stories of some of the students facing repression in Belarus. The report is the sixth in a series of briefings, part of the #StandWithBelarus campaign, which Amnesty International is producing to highlight how different sectors of Belarusian society are being targeted by the repressive government of Alyaksandr Lukashenka, after he claimed victory in the 9 August 2020 presidential election despite mounting evidence of mass electoral fraud.
FraudS+ Survey on student awareness of fraud in education launched!
ESU is a partner in the Frauds+ project, which aims at encouraging the automatic recognition of higher education qualifications and of upper secondary education by promoting a culture of ethics and transparency and developing further existing databases. Research on the habits of Erasmus Students
Within the framework of an Erasmus+ project, we are conducting research on the habits of Erasmus students. So join us and contribute to the project’s progress!
