Brook’s life in journalism: Front to back page

Nina Brook has done it all in the field of journalism. She's worked at three different newspapers, including The State in Columbia. She's taught high schoolers at Richland Northeast High School how to be journalists. And this fall, she began as an instructor in the SJMC. Read more »
CIC leadership, scholarship donors and student recipients met for a small luncheon earlier this month. It was an opportunity for the college to thank some of its donors, and it was a chance for those donors to connect with the students whose futures are brighter because of their generosity.

Alumni Notes

 
Charles Jones (B.A., 1991) is the senior client development manager at Akerman LLP, one of the 100 largest law firms in the U.S. There, he handles business development, marketing and communications.
Anna Wiederkehr (B.A., 2012) is currently the head of graphics at the Neu Zürcher Zeitung in Switzerland. After working in the visualization and information design industry for the early stages of her career, she has now returned to the world of journalism.
Stella Huffman (B.A., 2017) has been hired by Colliers International in Columbia as a marketing assistant. 
Charnita Mack (B.A., 2016) has been hired as the public relations and social media coordinator for Claflin University.
