Today's the day

We all knew this day would come. Nov. 8, 2016. Election Day. Even 595 days ago when Texas Sen. Ted Cruz declared his candidacy, we knew that the pages of the calendar would eventually make it here.

But can you even remember what life was like back then?

The Dallas Morning News has a ton in store for tonight. Charts! Maps! Analysis! You may even see an embroidered version of the Electoral College map by the end of the night.

Things to remember:

So go get that sticker — voters in Dallas county wanted them so badly officials ordered more than 1 million.

Remember to take care, friends!

This is it. You can do it. Take deep breaths throughout the day. Call or text your person and tell them something nice.

I would like to share with all of you this NPR story about a little koala found in a backpack.

Seriously, have a good Election Day. No matter which candidates win, I'll be back in your inbox one last time tomorrow.
