Happy New Years Eve

Good afternoon Biggies (yes, I'm still trying to figure out a nick name for you guys)!

New Years Eve, huh?

I'll make this quick so you can go about your NYE party preparations.

In hindsight, 2016 wasn't too shabby. Most of you have been along for the ride of self publishing my fist comic, attending my first couple conventions (even if they were tiny local ones), and starting on my next comic.

In the New Year, I plan on starting to publish Gorilla my Dreams as a free webcomic. So I hope you'll check that out when it drops and keep coming back for regular updates.

Bones: The Echidna-Man will see print as a back up story in Gorilla my Dreams when I print it up late 2017. There'll be other bonus stuff and maybe another back up story as well. So that's pretty exciting too.

So, what else is happening in 2017? I really don't know. A lot of my plans have already been blown out of the water, so I'm really gong to be winging it. But rest assured guys, anything of significance will land here first.

The winners of the t-shirt give away; I'm still waiting to hear back from the third winner with an address and sizes and whatnot. If I haven't heard by mid-January I'll put the order in for the other two and just get that sent off.

I'm also running a campaign that finishes midnight NYE where is you pledge as little as $1 a month on my Patron page, I'll send you a copy of Cthulhu Williams #0 (adult colouring variant cover edition) for no additional charge. So if that sounds like your jam, get on board.

And finally, my podcast; Turtle-Boy Podcast. My brother and I recorded an episode discussing what movies we're most looking forward to in 2017. So, check that out if you like too.

I'll get out of your hair now. Have an awesome but safe New Years, and I'll see you next year, ready to kick 2017 in the nuts.

New Years Resolutions

And listen, I know New Years Resolutions are only ever set up to fail. I mean I made three last year and only managed to keep up with one. This year is probably going to be the same, but if you don't aim for something, you're not going to hit anything, yeah?

I haven't quite figured out what I'm going to try and accomplish yet this year. Of course I'm going to try and step up in the fitness department. I'm slightly less Big Tim this year as I've lost 7.5 kgs in the last twelve months. So, I could do more of that.

But as far as my writing is concerned, I'm planning to step up my game in that department too. I did two consecutive writing courses this last quarter, and already feel like I've learned so much. And I look forward trying to apply this new knowledge to future stories.

Now, this is the resolution I always fail at, but I know I'm going to try and make it again. It's all about me making time for me and looking after my mental health. I have a habit of over committing to far too many projects. As it is, I'm still doing one of my writing courses that hasn't quite finished yet, a (semi) weekly podcast with my brother, rehearsing to play Uncle Fester in Addams Family: The Musical, as well as working on my comics. This is also juggled with my full-time job and family.

So, as you can see, I struggle to say no when an opportunity arises.

But, another thing about New Years.

If you've read this far, I'm going to be making a push on my social medias between now and New Years to get more Patreon Backers. I thought I'd let you folks know here first, since you're my people.

For everyone who pledges on my Patreon page between now and New Years is going to get a copy of Cthulhu Williams #0 (adult colouring in variant cover) mailed out to you. That's right, pledge as little as $1 a month and you'll get the comic posted out to you. Now, I know a bunch of you may already have this one, but hey, it could make an awesome gift to another comic book nerd friend, or maybe you just wanna try a different colouring scheme. Either way, it'll be your's to do with as you wish.

I'm putting my money (or comics) where my mouth is, and I want to immediately give you value for your buck.

Included in your pledge is more BTS stuff with my latest comic Gorilla my Dreams, and the chance of more bonus stuff.

So, check out my Patreon page and if you like what you see, pledge as little as $1 a month for all the inside scoops.

You can also follow me on whichever of my social networks you hold dear; Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. It'll be cool to see you there.

Finally, thanks for coming along for the ride. I love making comics and I love that you kinda dig them.

Aaaaaaaaaaand I better get into my homework.

Peace guys, and be good to each other.
