Syria Shipment - Fall 2016

Last semester we filled a 40 ft container to Syria and we could not have done it without any of our volunteers. It took four months to have the shipment successfully organized, sorted, and shipped.  Hundreds of people donated clothes, blankets, wheelchairs, and medical supplies. We are truly blessed to have this opportunity and we look forward to many more shipments to countries in need. If you want to see how our shipment went, check out our vlog here!

Third Time's a Charm! - Carnival 2016

After many weeks of anticipation due to the rain the Carnival was a success. The event took place in the VCU Student Commons Plaza and the students were piling in between classes to enjoy the great food and even better company. Students and faculty enjoyed machine bull riding, basketball, photo booth, Chipotle, cotton candy and much, much more! It was a great way to get our name out and we are excited to see the new faces during the warehouse trips.

Did someone say food?

After multiple attempts of beating the weather blues, the BBQ and Sweet Frog fundraiser finally happened. United2Heal members prepared juicy chicken kabobs, scrumptious burgers, hot dogs, and chicken sandwiches along with chips, drinks, and deserts. Not only did it become a place of gathering, but competition also took place on the volleyball field. What we were truly competing with were the storm clouds hovering over our venue. But rain or shine, United2Heal kept the fire going in order to fundraise money for the people who need it most.
