Any gift that is significant to you is an investment in the well-being of older adults in our community.
BHS is comprised of five community-supported programs of Michigan Medicine that serve older adults: Ann Arbor Meals on Wheels, Housing Bureau for Seniors, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, Silver Club Memory Programs, and the Turner Senior Wellness Program. Since its inception in 2006, Big Hearts for Seniors has raised more than $500,000 through various events, including the Big House/Big Heart races, silent auctions, and documentary film screenings. On July 30, 2020, BHS presented its first virtual fundraiser Big Hearted Stories: Experiences of Aging which raised over $75,000 and reached 500 households live, with over 2000 total views all over the globe.
