New!  Poetry Reading with Ginny Bentz

First meeting on Friday, February 19, 2021, 7 to 8 pm

Free in the Commons.  No registration necessary.
You're invited to a Poetry Reading in the Commons on February 19th from 7 - 8pm.  Please bring a poem of your own or a favorite one written by someone else. You will have about five minutes to read aloud and to give some context, so one longer poem or two short ones work well. If you'd rather just listen, that's okay too. Sip on a glass of wine or a cup of tea as we sit back, relax and applaud each unique offering. Contact Ginny Bentz at for details.

Ginny Bentz taught English at Gannon University and Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA and holds a Ph.D. in English from Case Western Reserve University. She writes poems as a hobby, and enjoys poetry readings. “It’s such a great experience, “ she says,  “listening to people’s thoughts that have been collected into poems. And every time you hear your own poem out loud, shared with a welcoming audience, you learn a little more about writing. Please join us.”
