HOA Members Survey

We are keen to capture your work to tackle obesity and your views on how we take our Alliance forward. Your feedback is important to us - please take our survey here.

The survey will be used to capture the work of the Alliance over the last 12 months and help shape our efforts going forward, particularly ensuring any gaps / challenges are identified and we are better coordinated.

The survey will close on Wednesday 7th December at 5pm.

Great Weight Debate

Haringey was fortunate to be one of eight boroughs across London to host the Great Weight Debate Road show in October - a big thank you to Marika Gauci at Tottenham Green Market for having us.

The travelling trailer was a fun, interactive educational resource for parents and carers and also had physical activities / games for kids to get involved in.

Residents had the chance to find out more about the scale of London’s childhood obesity epidemic and learn how our environment contributes towards the problem. As ever Chris Dennington, Senior Environmental Health Practitioner had innovative ways to engage families and teach them about the small changes they could make with their food choices.

More than two thousand Londoners have joined the #greatweightdebate so far. Call to action: Please take the GWD survey today and circulate to your networks to ensure Haringey's views are captured. Tell us what changes can be made to help children in London lead healthier lives!
