Many of you have met the Guatemalan social worker who makes sure children in Lemoa get the nutrition they desperately need. Valentina has dedicated herself to the Lemoa Nutrition Center since 2016. Recently she has become Sister Helen's main companion. She has no home of her own and limited income.
St. Luke's UMC in Highlands Ranch, Colorado is sponsoring our first Virtual Work Trip with the goal of building a home for Valentina. Our local crew is ready to begin work. With your help we can finish the home by summer. This will give Valentina somewhere to go if Sister Helen has to leave for any reason.
