We will be discussing the introduction of bylaw amendment proposals to transform the GPPC county party into a membership dues based organization. The AZGP state party adopted membership dues bylaw amendments in January 2022.
The process for amending the GPPC bylaws starts with a proposal signed by 20 Pima County Greens which is first brought to the Precinct Captain decision-making body, known as the the County Committee. When a bylaw amendment proposal is adopted by the County Committee, the next step in the process is that it then goes to the Steering Committee for ratification.
