Volunteers needed to offer a few hours of their time during the day to support the WINGS Christmas Market and Festival.
Jobs include: Setting up, decorating the hall and packing away, selling raffle tickets, covering the information booth, and many more.

Do you fancy a starry starry night, even when it is cloudy? Well, let us go hunt for some glowworms. Just a little walk up Dundas Road and there it is. Beautiful glowing creatures.

We will car share due to limited parking up the hill.
Please bring a torch/head torch.
Wear sturdy footwear.
The walk is weather dependent.

Clean Up Week - Keep Whangarei Beautiful

Clean Up week 2022 - Keep New Zealand Beautiful. WINGS has been a part of this initiative of keeping NZ beautiful. A group of us walked the loop picking up litter. Amazing how much rubbish was collected. We ended our walk at Sabio cafe for a well-deserved breakfast.

Play Table Tennis for Fitness and fun
Our WINGS Member went to play Table Tennis and very much enjoyed playing learning from others and particularly Naina. The sessions are for everyone, whether you have played before or not. Wear sports shoes and bring a drink - all equipment is provided.
COST: The first session is Free. Then it costs $5 per session.
