VOLUNTEERS GATHERING
What a lovely gesture that was from our Chairperson Mina, to invite everyone who worked so hard on Pamper Day and for a warm gathering to say thank you!
So may ladies showed up and it was such a great time to catch up after Pamper Day craziness. A debrief summarized our event to look at feedback, comments, areas of improvement and wow elements.
The evening ended with delicious food and dessert, courtesy of -you guessed it- Mina! Everyone even got little gifts too! Thank you Mina :)

Everyone had the opportunity to view the eclectic mix of fabulous artworks produced by some talented Whangarei artists.
A huge thank you to all those who gave their time on the day and provided the delicious cakes and savouries.

INTRODUCTION TO ASTROLOGY PART 2: Zodiac Symbols
It was a rainy Queen Mother Birthday Monday and for those of us who hadn't gone away it was perfect to meet for an astrology class and connect with like-minded minds. We looked at the meaning of the zodiac glyphs; rich in history, astronomy, symbolism and mythology and finished with a cuppa and cake.

MOVIE DOCUMENTARY: MY OCTOPUS TEACHER
We enjoyed a fabulous film afternoon at Sue's home watching 'My Octopus Teacher' - a most moving and interesting documentary which recently won an Oscar.
Our host was able to give us some 'inside information' about the making of the film as her son was part of the sound team.
Thanks go to Sue for sharing her home, providing refreshments and giving WINGS ladies the opportunity to see this beautiful production.
