DELTA Maintenance During Spring Break
DELTA will perform system maintenance on March 6 and 7 that will cause periodic outages and sluggishness to DELTA resources. This maintenance will affect all courses using DELTA services such as WolfWare, Moodle, and Mediasite. This includes Records & Registration courses, project spaces, and WolfWare Outreach courses.
The maintenance schedule is expected to cause the following disruptions to service:
Monday morning: Updates will cause 30-60 minutes of sluggishness
Monday afternoon: Brief outages (5-20 minutes) of WolfWare, Moodle, and Mediasite
Tuesday morning: Brief outages of all DELTA services

LeaderShape Institute Now Accepting Applications
The LeaderShape Institute is an intensive and energizing six-day program open to all NC State students (undergraduate and graduate) that challenges participants to lead with integrity while working towards a vision grounded in their deepest values. Dynamic, challenging, and exciting, the week is intended to produce a breakthrough in the leadership capacity of participants—benefiting them individually, as well as their respective communities and the organizations they will go on to lead and serve in the future.
This year's Institute will take place Tuesday, May 16th - Sunday, May 21st at the 4-H Environmental Education and Conference Center in Columbia, NC. 60 students will be selected and accompanied by 10 staff. This program is offered at no cost to students. Application deadline is March 22nd, 2017
12th Annual Graduate Student Research Symposium
This is to announce that the 12th Annual NC State University Graduate Student Research Symposium will be held in the Jane S. McKimmon Center on Wednesday, March 22, 2017. The poster session will be from 1:30pm to 4:00pm. This year, there will be over 200 poster presentations representing research being conducted in over 60 graduate programs.
This event is co-sponsored and organized by the Graduate Student Association and the Graduate School. Additional information may be found at:
The primary goal of the symposium is to showcase the outstanding quality and diversity of graduate research at NC State. This is a great opportunity for all to take a look at the interesting research projects being conducted at the graduate level.
CEFS NC State University Graduate Fellowship Now Accepting Applications

The Conscious Capitalism Student Business Plan Competition
The Conscious Capitalism Student Business Plan Competition take place at the 2017 Spring Conscious Capitalism Conference, in Philadelphia, PA from April 18-20, 2017. The purpose of the competition will be to promote awareness of Conscious Capitalism and more broadly purpose-driven approaches to business to young people, as well as support the most innovative ideas developed by students from around the country to elevate humanity through business.
First round submissions are due by March 14, 2017. Finalists will be invited to attend the 2017 Spring Conscious Capitalism Conference with registration, travel, and housing provided by Conscious Capitalism, Inc. The Grand Prize is an invitation for the winning team to attend the 2017 CEO Summit, an invitation-only event limited to 200 executives to spend 3 days sharing their experiences and learning from one another.

Academic Advising & Registration
Advising session for all First Year students (TIME CHANGE)
March 15th 9:00am-10:00am (Graduate Lounge) - Required group advising session for all First Year students in order for your advising hold to be released. We will go over some general announcements as well as how to complete your Graduate Plan of Work (laptops are encouraged so you can follow along!).
You must notify your Advisor (Sarah Pickel) in advance if you can not make the session and we will arrange for a make up session at a to be determined time.
Individual advising appointments will be available after group advising for more in depth advising needs. Appointment slots will be posted on go.ncsu.edu/ftmbaadvising closer to that time.
Last Day to Drop a Class
The Last day to drop a class for Spring 2017 is March 13th. Graduate Students can perform this action in mypack portal through March 13th.
**Please be aware when dropping classes that you must be registered for at least 9 hours to remain in full-time status and it is currently passed the deadline to add any additional classes.
All Graduating students in the Full-time program should have received an email from their advisor this week on the steps needed to graduate in May. Please refer to the email for specific directions on completing those steps by the deadline on Wednesday, March 15th.

Graduation Apparel and the NC State Bookstore Graduation Fair
Caps, gowns, and other graduation apparel can be ordered through the NC State Bookstores website or during the NC State Bookstores Grad Fair.
Distribution of caps and gowns will take place beginning Wednesday, March 29 in Wolfpack Outfitters. Please follow the directional signs in the store. All graduation apparel must be paid for at the time of pick-up. Students must present a photo ID (either student ID or driver’s license).
NC State Bookstores will host the Grad Fair on March 29th and 30th in Wolfpack Outfitters in Talley Student Union. Representatives from WolfXpress (graduation announcements), Balfour (class rings), University Frames (diploma frames), Career Planning and more will be available to help answer your graduation questions.
During the Grad Fair, students can purchase their diploma frames for 10% off.

First Year Headshot Re-do
Not happy with your headshot from Orientation? Not a problem, we are giving you another opportunity to take one.
On March 31st from 1-2pm there will be a photographer meeting you at Witherspoon to take a new headshots. Weather permitting it will be outside. So bring your business professional clothing and get ready to smile for the camera!

March is Women's HERstory Month at NC State – Join Us for Programs!
