Tallinn, Estonia was a cozy but thriving city that had a great vibe. We enjoyed our final few days in Europe walking around the old town, enjoying a free guided tour, and meeting some new friends (local and travelers).
We cannot believe how fast these 4 months went in Europe. Seems like we just got here. Now it is off to Tokyo where we will spend 6 weeks experiencing the uniqueness of Japan.
Beginning our longterm Asia visit is something Nikki and I are very excited about. We had the chance to spend 10 days in Hong Kong, been to Thailand several times, and about 7 weeks in Vietnam, but to spend the next 7 months there will be quite the experience. I hope to get the chance to see the new Golden Bridge that I wrote about last week in a short post.
In this week’s podcast episode we discuss pet sits, house sits, and how to travel for free using the website TrustedHousesitters.
Can you imagine having a free place to stay in amazing places like Paris, Tokyo, or Zurich? It is possible by taking care of pets and watching homes for vacationers in cities around the world. Do you need someone to watch your pets when you vacation but hate paying the fees of a kennel or pet sitter?
This is a great way to have a responsible, verified person watch your home and take care of your pets for free. We break down all of the facts of pet sitting in this podcast episode. We also talk about our three weeks in Zurich, Switzerland and what we did to pass the time as we watched two sweet cats.

I am writing this from the lobby in Estonia before we head to Copenhagen with a short layover, then Qatar with a more extended layover, and then off to Japan.
Send me positive vibes that I might get seats with plenty of leg room…
