I hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend. Nikki and I just experienced Typhoon Jebi in Japan, and it wasn’t too bad in our area although the winds were extreme.
Two podcasts that interviewed me(us) went live today. One is financially focused, and one is a sketch comedy.
Tim Ulbrich of Your Financial Pharmacist Podcast interviewed both Nikki and me about a wide variety of topics with a strong focus on finance. Tim was very interested in Nikki’s background in her pharmacy career, how we worked out of the student loan debt that comes with a Doctorate, and our distaste for Sallie Mae.
We discuss our story and backgrounds, how we plan our monthly budget while traveling full time, our favorite places, and the discomforts of spending so much time together.
We enjoyed this conversation with Tim and hoped it helps encourage his pharmacy-focused listening audience.
The second interview, Stuart Rice of the Sketch Comedy Podcast Show, took place back in April but it still relevant and a ton of fun. Stuart is hilarious in his questions and interaction.
We discuss the process of deciding to leave our careers, what fits in our bag, and the fact that I get many photo requests based on my height in South America and India.
We talk a bunch about the exotic foods that come with traveling to wild locations and, in the end, Stuart and I do an improvised discussion of us walking through a foreign market to negotiate goods (this episode airs in the next week or so). You can hear how nervous I am as we are about to kick it off.
If you find these podcasts fun, entertaining, or enlightening, please give both Stuart and Tim some positive feedback. Putting together our podcast, I know how much time goes into it.
Hope you have a great week ahead!
