Hard to believe how fast time moves as we attempt to transition back. Crazy that it's mid-July already. When (not if) possible, find time to reflect on your year and make sure it aligns with the goals that you set in January. Readjust your goals as needed and take action. I gave a high-level look at my strategy just after the new year. Have a look if you haven't already.
► Awesome to see the US Women win the Soccer World Cup. Are you paying attention to the Cricket World Cup? I realize that cricket is not a major sport in the US, but it is one of the most popular games in the world. Well, as the crazy internet works, I connected some time ago with one of the best cricket players in the world, AKA the Universe Boss, and he has invited me to his home to celebrate a monumental birthday. Life is wild, right?
► I am filming another episode of World Barber Shop Adventures tomorrow. It's important to me to highlight US-based barber shops as well those that I have enjoyed around the world. The interest in the channel continues to grow with the Tokyo video having over 70K views now. Would love your subscription on the channel if you are YouTube users. Do you know any bada$$ barbers in your cities that I might be able to visit? Let me know.
► I was interviewed recently on one of the most popular podcasts in the country on Dating and Relationship Advice. I spoke openly about why Nikki and I have such a great relationship and my theories on how we got along so well spending 24/7 together for 800 days straight. The interviewer, Scot McKay does a great job in hitting all of the sensitive topics.
► A reminder for those Indianapolis-based traveler lovers. I have created I Love Traveling Meetup where we plan to share ideas on how to make your travel dreams a reality. I am scheduling our first event in the next couple of weeks if you want to join.
► In almost every city, we have found kindhearted people that either opened their hearts or their homes. Many offered a meal, shared a story, helped us in a time of need, and shared a part of their culture with us. In this week's episode of Passport Joy Travel Talk, we discuss a few of the stories that touched our hearts as we travel this beautiful world.
Continue to be kind to each other.
