Sharp Eye + Heart For Exploration
My ‘sharp eye’ seems to have failed me noticing that Spotify actually has a ‘thumbs up’ and ‘thumbs down’ button. I recently noticed it while writing Story #20. It only seems to show up if I select 'radio'. Though I am not sure how long it'll take before I find a track that I could give a 'thumbs up'.
I was enjoying the weird selection: from calm tracks, to 90's grunge, progressive rock...even if I had to tell my 'music butler' (I know...it's the AI) no to one track after the other. I should note though...I probably would tag at least one track from that box. It's not the genre...it's the track.
There's the interesting track by 'Third Eye Blind' that sounds like...well...different!
When it seems like the system has taken me back to the start (maybe it just felt that way? And there was moire?). I look at the playlist called 'Your Release Radar' and clicked play. I was hit with the realisation: the tracks earlier were from my time-capsule curated playlist.
Another thing: if I clicked on individual tracks within that playlist --- no thumbs up or down. Nice move Spotify. Blind listening is usually the best. Well, 'blind' in a sense that I have no idea what's coming next.
And looked like I was mistaken --- there is only one curated playlist that a listener can 'yay' or nay' tracks. So if you click play and you find yourself without the 'two thumbs', right click on a playlist and select 'Start Radio'
After a number of no's (and one track that I like but after reading the lyrics decided to skip it), I finally found my first daily playlist discovery: 'Lose It All' from Touch Sensitive!
I wanna know
