HIGHLIGHTED CLASS

*** Not in Catalog ***
Feliz Navidad
This class is for those who would like to learn about Mexican culture. The Pastorela is a musical work representing the traditional nativity theme. The play whose origins are rooted in Spain has been adopted in Mexico. The story begins with a "pastora" who is guided on her way to Bethlehem by a "star". A "diablo" appears and tries to interrupt the pastora's journey but is ultimately vanquished by "an angel". NOTE: Mexican snacks and coffee are included in the class fee.
