Hi, I am Kim (Zwerner) Jacobs a 2012 Jax Alum! Since teaching math at Ribault High School, I received my MBA from UF and have been working at the Home Depot for 3 years. I moved back to Jax Beach a year ago with my pup, Hazel, and married fellow corps member, Mark Jacobs in March 2019. I am excited to serve on theAalumni Board and connect current corps members with all of the possibilities Jacksonville has to offer.
Staff Highlight - Matt Minnick
In case you missed it, 2007 Atlanta Alum Matt Minnick is our new Head of Development for the Jacksonville region. Motivated and informed by his experience in the classroom, Matt earned his Juris Doctor degree at the FSU College of Law, with a specific focus on policy and advocacy. He then spent eight years working in education policy, the final five on staff at Teach For America where he led the statewide government affairs and public policy work in Florida. He currently lives in Tallahassee, Florida with his wife Chrissy and goldendoodle/office mate Teddy. He is a Florida State and Green Bay Packer fanatic and would appreciate any restaurant and brewery recommendations in the Jacksonville area.
