The State Assistance Information Line (SAIL) is a toll-free hotline activated at the time of an emergency to provide an additional resource for those in Florida to receive accurate and up-to-date information regarding an emergency or disaster situation impacting the State of Florida. The SAIL hotline is: 1-800-342-3557.

Potential AmeriCorps Volunteer Needs: After the storm passes, there may be a need to have volunteers at emergency shelters (typically schools). This is voluntary, not mandatory, but if power loss and flooding occur, residents may be moved into temporary shelters in schools. Please let us know if you would be willing to assist at shelters for the storm. Check out shelters in Jacksonville here

Attention Alumni Teachers! 2 min - Update Your Information!
We are often asked "do you know anyone who teaches 6th grade ELA?" This information often helps us connect corps members or other alumni to resources and support. With the new school year upon us we want to make sure we have accurate data. We currently have a list based on information from the district website but would love to have you confirm or edit your teaching position details. Find your name on the list and simply initial by your name if it's correct!
