We've updated the Coronavirus in South Africa dashboard to show the latest numbers. Confirmed cases have increased by 165 since yesterday to 3,465. No new deaths were reported today. The Western Cape's confirmed cases have breached the 1,000 mark, with 1,010 cases, but Gauteng still has the most cases with 1,199. Numbers are also rising fast in the Eastern Cape, where the department of health says funerals are a big factor in spreading the virus.
