Urge Congress to Oppose Enforcement Expansion by Creating a Budget that Supports Immigrants!

The House Appropriations Committee released its Fiscal Year 2018 Homeland Security Bill. The bill requests well beyond the $4.5 billion for expanded immigration enforcement in President Trump’s initial budget proposal. Now is the moment to speak up to tell Congress to oppose this funding proposal that will separate families and hurt U.S. communities.

The federal budget is a reflection of our nation's beliefs and values. As followers of Christ, we have an opportunity to raise our voices to urge Congress to enact a faithful budget - one that works toward the flourishing of all God’s people.

Urge Congress to oppose increased funding for detention, deportations, and border enforcement and to support vulnerable migrants worldwide.
