Urge Congress to Support Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for El Salvador!
Today is a national day of action for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Salvadorans. On January 8, the Department of Homeland Security will announce its decision on TPS for El Salvador, affecting 195,000 Salvadoran TPS-holders. Join the faith community in calling on Congress to support TPS for El Salvador!
The U.S. government created TPS to offer refuge for immigrants from certain countries that face conflict, natural disasters, health epidemics, or other extraordinary situations. Our neighbors are at risk of being sent home to life-threatening conditions. Tell Congress that, as a Christian, you seek the safety and flourishing of your neighbors.
Ask your members of Congress to support an extension of El Salvador’s TPS!
