Quarterly News Summer

Hearts Exchanged

At the CRC Canadian Indigenous Ministry Committee we mark all kinds of remembrances.  And while some of these anniversaries are signposts for the necessity of continuing the work of reconciliation we are grateful for the anniversaries of growth, persistence and resilience that we also observe.  The 30th anniversary of the Edmonton Healing Centre is one such occasion!

Celebrate this anniversary and hear from Director Harold Roscher in this video!

Set aside some time to listen to this conversation.  In it Shannon Perez shares some of our national history, as well as some of her own personal history with racism with a group of Canadian seminary students.

Gratitude for Shannon

As of July 1st Shannon Perez has shifted from her role as Justice and Reconciliation Mobilizer to the Director of the Indigenous Family Centre. We are so grateful for the work she was able to do in her 8 years in this position.  And we're so glad we'll continue to see her in her work at IFC.

Read more on this transition.

Kamloops: Prayer & Action
