Last month, over 60 evangelical Christians converged on Washington D.C. to march, learn and advocate for climate action. They met with 35 congressional offices across Capitol Hill with the same message: evangelicals are concerned about climate change and want Congress to put a price on carbon.
Now it’s time to build on the momentum we’ve generated and to take the next step: sustained in-district advocacy. We can’t all travel to Washington, D.C. every month, but we can meet with our elected officials and their staff in their local district offices.
Join us on Thursday, June 29 from 9-10 pm E.T. for our free webinar Acting in Faith: Taking the Next Step. We’ll recap all of the great work we did in Washington, refresh ourselves on our policy asks, discover how to build respectful relationships with our local congressional offices, and learn how to build a sustained, local movement for climate action.
All are welcome to join this webinar, both those who were and were not with the group in Washington, D.C. We want to grow this movement, so those not in D.C. are especially welcome!
