Ask Congress to support the Dream Act before the year ends!
Congress is running out of time to pass a long-term solution for Dreamers. Between today and March 8—the official end of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program—the House of Representatives is in session for just 36 days.
Since Sept. 5, 2017, an estimated 10,939 young people have lost their DACA protection. That number will keep growing at a rate of 122 people for each day that Congress delays acting on the Dream Act.
Dreamers are our friends and neighbors and have waited long enough to be recognized in this country. Congress needs to hear repeatedly that people of faith stand with Dreamers and urge the passage of the Dream Act before the end of the year.
