Happy Holidays
Happy Holidays!

From the team at Children First Canada (CFC), we wish you and your loved ones a safe and happy holiday season.

Thank you for joining our efforts to advocate on behalf of all 8 million children in Canada. Our work would not be possible without the generous support and contributions of our donors, sponsors, partners and children themselves. We are grateful for your support this past year!

Donations made in December will be matched
Give a meaningful gift
This year, CFC marked five years of dedicated advocacy for young people in Canada. In honour of this milestone, our Board Chair Gail O’Brien is matching all donations made to CFC in the month of December – up to a maximum of $25,000! That means every $1 will turn into $2 to double the impact on the lives of kids in Canada. Thank you for your generous support.

Vaccine strategy needs to put children first
Children's Healthcare Canada (CHC) warns that our nation's efforts to combat COVID-19 will fail if children and youth are not prioritized in the national vaccine strategy. Together with CHC, we're urging the federal government to ensure the national strategy meets the needs of Canada's youngest citizens.
A call for help
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, young Canadians have reached out to Kids Help Phone more than 4 million times this year. That's twice as much as last year. Reported in a Toronto Star article, the data reveals that callers – some as young as five years old – are mainly seeking help for their mental and emotional health.
