Your Grace T-Shirt Tells It All
A great T-Shirt proudly tells the world who you are and where you're from. We're taking orders now for our new Grace Church t-shirts. We hope to have them in time for upcoming events such as the Pig Pickin', Episcopal House Habitat work-site, Pumpkin Patch and the YMCA Produce Truck. To place your order contact Larry or Lucy Bowen at "bowenlw434@gmail.com", call 229.224.5899 or see us Sunday at the 10:30 service.  Order deadline is Monday, Sept 2 no later than 5:00 p.m.

Habitat for Humanity "Episcopal House" Volunteers Needed! We have blocked out volunteer slots as a pledge to construction of the thirteenth Episcopal House: Saturday, September 14; Thursday, September 19; Monday, September 30; Saturday, October 5; and Friday, October 18. For details, check the display on the bulletin board in the foyer and "nail down your work day!"

SPECIAL REQUEST FOR HELP: Can You Do Some Grounds Weeding? We like to keep our grounds looking nice. Kathleen Griffin, Jackie Schauer and John Woodson have been busy weeding and working in the flower beds, and they'd like to see more people involved with our grounds care. If you can stop by the church, walk around our beautiful grounds, and pull some weeks, that would be most appreciated. If you spot a weed when you come by for a meeting or a service, please pull it up! If you need some help in determining what to pull, feel free to contact one of these three and they'll be happy to help you discern.

Friday Night Lights: Bring a candle, bring a lawn chair, and let your light shine! On Friday evenings about 30-45 minutes before sunset, you are invited to join the gathering on the front lawn of Grace Church. They aren't protesting or carrying signs. They are the sign - a small, visible sign of Christ in a troubled world. And Friday nights, you can join them in taking a couple of hours to, as Jesus taught, let your light shine. Please join in.

Rummage Sale Drop-Off Day!  Tomorrow, August 31, from 9 a.m. until Noon, the ECW will gratefully accept donations of clean, gently used clothes, books (no text books), sports equipment and household items for their annual rummage sale which will be held on Saturday, November 2nd. In preparation for the sale, members of the ECW will receive your donations at the “Storage House” to the left of the upper parking lot. THIS WILL BE THE LAST DROP-OFF DAY UNTIL THE LAST WEEK IN OCTOBER. If you don't get your items in tomorrow, we ask that you hold them and bring them directly to the parish hall starting October 28th, the week prior to the sale.

We need six students to make a group. Your guides during this journey are Nancy Walters and Christopher Jaquette. If you are interested or have questions you may contact Christopher, Nancy, Fr.
