A Word About Chicago Ahead Of Saturday's Election...
Saints of God, Saturday is the day. Starting around noon our time they will begin their rounds of voting to determine who will be their next Bishop. I am deeply appreciative of your prayers and the ways you have held this alongside our life and work together. If you'd like to follow along as it is happening you can follow the livestream the convention which will run from 10:30am - 4pm on Saturday.

Let us pray: Let us pray, O God of unchangeable power and eternal light: Look favorably on your whole Church, that wonderful and sacred mystery; by the effectual working of your providence, carry out in tranquillity the plan of salvation; let the whole world see and know that things which were cast down are being raised up, and things which had grown old are being made new, and that all things are being brought to their perfection by him through whom all things were made, your Son Jesus Christ our Lord; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
(Book of Common Prayer, p. 515)

My recommendation, review and do the prayer recommended in the Advent Calendar and then use the forms for either morning or end of day for general prayer with O Come O Come Emmanuel as your daily hymn. I'm also attaching it below for all who prefer things electronic!
