Praying With The Words Of Our Tradition

17. For the Nation

Lord God Almighty, you have made all the peoples of the earth for your glory, to serve you in freedom and in peace: Give to the people of our country a zeal for justice and the strength of forbearance, that we may use our liberty in accordance with your gracious will; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

18. For Peace

Almighty God, kindle, we pray, in every heart the true love of peace, and guide with your wisdom those who take counsel for the nations of the earth, that in tranquility your dominion may increase until the earth is filled with the knowledge of your love; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Tres Reyes Bag Giveaway!
Please pray for us as we (Brenda, Libby + St. Mary's House) share gift bags with the broader community this Saturday! If you would like to participate come down to St. Mary's between 11am & 1pm and we will give you some to share with persons in need who you know. It's a season of gifts and blessings, no matter what.
This Week's Bible Reading: The Joseph Story!
Please Join us as we read the Bible end-to-end in 2021! We've read through the birth of Jacob's 1st 11 children and in the week to come (beginning Sunday) we start the Joseph story which was deeply transformative to the people of Israel. One interesting fact is Joseph is reported in accounts by Egyptian and other near eastern writings so brotha was real for sure!
