This Week At St. Mary's Lent I!

Good afternoon Saints and a blessed Lent to all of you. I pray you had a holy Ash Wednesday and it was great being with a group of you on Zoom last night. Lent is here and we'll start it with a bang with the great litany on Sunday and other work of prayer. Bishop Alan will visit us the next week and so much more!

Lent I @ 9am, 11am & 1pm. Bible @ 10 & Coffee Hour @ 12!
Join us for St. Mary's worship this Sunday at 9am, 11am or 1pm. I will be holding a space to discuss the Bible Reading from 10am - 10:30am. After the 11am service I'll also hold space for discussion of Lenten Practices. You can come with questions, thoughts or just curious ears! Come on down!

Bishop Alan will come to St. Mary's next Sunday for Lent II at 11am! As such we will have one service that day to be with him and will have "coffee with the Bishop" right after church. Be sure to come and fellowship with us!

Episcopal Relief and Development has put out their annual Lenten Meditations Series, a great resource for daily prayer during Lent. Each day features some scripture and a reflection written by a person of faith from around the world and they are really good. Next Week's Bible Reading: Balaam And The Donkey!
Please Join us as we read the Bible end-to-end in 2021! We are in the Book of Numbers now! This week's reading features the famous story of Balaam and the Donkey! As God's people march through the wilderness they encounter opposition and battle and with God's help prevail. Chapter 27 also features a significant provision for daughter's to receive their familial inheritance.
