Dear Roy & Dora Whitman Community,
Hello! We had a fun spirit day today- pajama day. Students and teachers did fun educational activities with a cozy twist to liven up the art of learning. I believe these fun, spirit-building moments are what make our school special and a great place to be.
Many of our students are involved in extra-curricular activities that are showcasing their talents this month. I encourage you to attend some of the events ( see Community Christmas Concert below) to show support for our students. Of special note, our first choir group will be singing some songs on December 13 directly after school. The students have planned a super line up of music for the holiday season and their parents are invited to attend this program.
The mail chimp letter with the town hall informational video and survey for parent input is just about ready to go out. Please look for it.
We want to congratulate Aidan Beasley, graduating class of 2016, on being the 1st freshman at his university to ever be chosen for a main part in the university’s drama production, 39 Steps. We are so pleased and proud that he was able to develop his talent in our drama productions. Break a leg, Aidan!
