Marco Islanders

Islanders are special … your outpouring of support is amazing!   As I’ve walked the neighborhoods, so many of you have invited me into your homes to talk about what is important to you and your family.  I’ve appreciated learning about you and your ideas to make our island better. I’m also grateful to those who have offered to display my yard sign. The response has been so overwhelming that I had to order more signs and now have a waiting list. Thank you so much! Also, a special thank you to Dawn and Trevor who gave me a bottle of ice water in the heat of the day.

MIPD Interview

On September 23, I participated in an interview by a panel from the Marco Island Police Department conducted at Rose Hall in the Marco Island Branch of the Collier County Library.  I was so impressed with their professionalism. Thank you, MIPD!
Meet the Candidates!
The first forum for Marco Island City Council candidates is on September 29th at the Rose History Auditorium, Marco Island Historical Society Museum, 180 South Heathwood.  It is sponsored by the Florida Citizens’ Alliance and will be moderated by Bob Harden.  Doors open at 6:30 pm and the forum starts at 7:00.  There’s plenty of parking, and admission is free.  Stop by my table and pick up a bookmark that celebrates Marco's natural beauty!
Marco Eagle Interview
I had the opportunity to sit down with Lisa Conley, staff reporter for the Marco Eagle, for an interview. Lisa is a graduate of the University of Missouri, a top journalism school in the country.  What a sharp young professional!  Marco Island is lucky to have such a talented reporter assigned for local coverage.  Be sure to pick up a copy of the Marco Eagle on Friday to read my city council candidate profile.
The September issue of the Marco Island Civic Association’s MICAwave just hit the streets. The 11 question candidate survey is published in this issue. Check out my comments to the issues important to Marco Island at; click the media tab.
Let’s work together for Marco Island!
For my campaign to be successful, I need your continued support. Donations are always needed and welcome. If you would like a sign for your yard or business or a “moving yard sign” for your car, please click the sign below to send me your name and address or pick up a bumper sticker on Thursday at the Rose History Auditorium.
