October Spotlight Report: Style Boutique
What fun we had!
Owner Diana Carter gave us a lovely evening in her beautiful shop in Bridgenorth. Diana gave us some great tips on accessorizing, and Melinda Masters of Melinda's Custom Sewing facilitated a fun activity, and you can see the team who won the creativity award wearing crowns in the left photo below, and the team who won the speed award wearing gold medals in the photo on the right.
Thank you so much to Diana and Melinda!
Thank you for providing Feedback for our meetings in September and October!
This is what you said:
September:
Because we are asking for feedback so often, we decided as a board, to share a summary of the feedback each month in the newsletter.  So, our first meeting in September started off with a bang! Monika led the pack and was closely followed up by Heather and Tracey – thanks to all three women for their time and effort. As usual some comments reinforced that a good mix of local speakers and external speakers seems to fit the needs of the members. And, as for some information about our facilitator question, 74% of the membership scored the facilitators as outstanding and 16% as good – all in all an amazing score for volunteer facilitators.
Some of the comments that we feel are worth sharing are:” Maura jumped in when our facilitator was MIA and she did an amazing job” and a request for people to stay off their phones at the table except for the occasional tweet.

October:
Excellent scores on both the speaker and the table facilitators – 4.2 out of 5 for both.  And, Jeannine Taylor received a shout out for being a great facilitator at the October meeting. On the other hand, one table felt their facilitator spent a lot of time talking about her business.
Some other comments that you may find interesting are:
Vegetarian Spring Rolls were amazing – and from another member – Spring rolls not appetizing at all but noodles tasty.  This is pretty consistent for the type of feedback we receive about food every month – perhaps this will give you a glimpse of how difficult it is to keep everyone happy.
Our table enjoyed the family style table service for dinner. Really enjoyed the meeting in its entirety and as a new member felt much more comfortable this time!
Great night .   Awesome meeting .   See you in November.

Do you have the coverage you need if you are involved in an Automobile Accident? In 2016 the Ontario Government reduced the coverage you have for injuries suffered, with no premium reduction. Gowland, Boriss recommends you speak with your Auto Insurer or Broker about augmenting your third-party liability limits, family protection coverage, and increase your basic IRB and Treatment amounts.
