THIS SIMPLE CHANGE WILL INCREASE YOUR INCOMING COLLAB E-MAILS
Earlier this week I was preparing an Instagram audit for one of my clients and I breezed past a detail that I noticed has been a commonality among many bloggers I've worked with, and many Instagram pages I look at.

This also recently came up as a topic of conversation in our Blogging, Unscripted Facebook group, and so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to share with everyone

WHY YOU SHOULD INCLUDE YOUR CONTACT E-MAIL IN YOUR BIO IN ADDITION TO MAKING IT A CONTACT BUTTON ON YOUR BUSINESS PROFILE

1) Brands often browse on Instagram for potential collabs via a desktop computer as opposed to a mobile phone. If you sign into IG via your desktop, you'll notice that the handy "contact" button you see on mobile is no longer there, so having it readily available in your IG bio allows brands to simply copy & paste.

2) On the flip side, if using the "contact" button on an iPhone, the button goes through the iPhone's “Mail” app. If the brand is browsing via mobile and using a different mail platform (for example, gmail or an in-house mail system), that contact button will lead them to a dead end (Thanks to Tina in our FB Group for sharing this insight!).

SO - all of those profiles you browse past wondering why the contact info. is typed out - it's strategic!
