Season's greetings

We hope you enjoyed the holiday period and are as excited as we are for the year ahead.

We have been up and running for a month now, and are pleased to report that our business advisers have been busily providing advice and support to industry on a range of areas.  We have also received quite a few innovation proposal submissions through the portal, and early indications are preparing us for an industrious 2017.

Future Frigate industry briefings

The roadshows across major cities were a great success and while they have come to an end, planning is currently underway for future industry events. To stay in the loop, make sure you keep an eye on the events page.

The Future Frigate Program is a key pillar of the Government’s plan to modernise Australia’s naval capabilities and create a sustainable naval shipbuilding industry. The Program is currently focusing on the project definition, design and build of the Future Frigates.

For more information, check out the latest fact sheet and watch the opening speech by the Minister for Defence Industry, the Hon. Christopher Pyne MP.

Tell us about your business

We invite you to participate in our Defence Industrial Capability Plan survey. It will assess the industrial capabilities that your company is able to generate now, or will be in a position to generate within the next 12 months.  The information collected will inform the development of the Defence Industrial Capability Plan.  The survey closes 31 January 2017 and all responses are confidential.
