The objective of the website is to provide easy access to information, tools and resources necessary for establishing and maintaining democratic security sector governance in Ukraine.

Intended as a quick reference source for the general public as much as a professional audience, the content is not only relevant to Ukraine but also to other audiences around the world. Structured around six main topics and six main actors, the website’s most valuable feature is its Best Practices section.
The website is currently being translated into Ukrainian Language. The Ukrainian version will be launched shortly, so stay tuned!

Best Practices

The Best Practices section features a comprehensive selection of basic texts, tools and other useful resources that is readily available to anyone involved and interested in security sector governance issues.

The key features of democratic security governance have been broken down into six simple topics to orient anyone new to the issue. Sub-topics are also clearly listed so that relevant subject matter and resources can be quickly identified.
