Message from the Director
You've hopefully picked up my news that I have decided to step down as director. It's been a difficult decision but it has been the right one. QYFC has grown from a vision one sleepless night to a charity employing three people and having supported over 1350 young people in 6.5 years. But God has bigger plans and in order for it grow, I feel a director is needed who can work full time to allow it to blossom. Please pray for the future of QYFC and for the new director who we hope will join QYFC in September.

Thanks for your support,
It's back and it's bigger and better THAN EVER!!!!!! Join us for a night in Edgbaston Cricket Ground Banqueting Suite (we've gone for the biggest room they offer!) for exquisite food, wine, drinks, live auction, lowest bid auction and more chances to win.

This year we are joined by TV's Graham Penny and The Bishop of Birmingham, David Urquhart. We've also got a photo booth at our drinks reception with walk on balcony views of the ground and a live band to dance your troubles away until the early hours!!!!!

We've already secured some exclusive lots including a stay in London for two with attraction tickets, a stay in a Scottish holiday home and a break for two to a exclusive European destination!!!! The team are already hard at work to acquire the best lots our efforts can muster.

Tickets are £35 per ticket or £30 each if a table of 10 or more is booked. If you would like to book a tickets or a table then please go to our website or talk to one of the team.
We've Moved!
For the last 6 and a half years we have been based in Four Dwellings Academy but just before Christmas we needed to locate to a new office. So we have moved into the upstairs of Christ Church the Quinton's Coffee Shop on Castle Road West. It is a huge blessing to be able to use this space and to have a new home for our office. We have felt God at hand in this move and it's part of God leading us into a new direction. Massive thanks to Christ Church for giving us the option to use their space as our office.

New office!
Our UNITE youth events for local churches in Quinton are becoming more popular and are gaining momentum. We have been impacting our community by picking up litter in October, cleaning and planting new flowers outside of the Co-op in May, and supporting the elderly residents at Rosemount sheltered housing with their on-site allotment in January and March. Our youth services have now toured at four churches in Quinton as we seek to get more young people visiting other churches in Quinton and open the church to  more young people.

Our biggest highlight was our youth service at Quinton Christ church in November as one of the young people shared their passion for helping the homeless. She did a fantastic job and was brilliant to see a young person inspire other young people. Over different events we have been joined by young people from the Boys Brigade and our Dropzone after school club in which most are not from a church background. We have also been having great fun and building relationship with our social events.

Since our last newsletter we have run an alternative Halloween party (Pumpkin carving galore!!), Santa's Vs Elves laser quest, Break dancing beginners workshop, and our next social to Clent Hills to roll eggs down a hill (Egg rolling - check it out!). We have also enrolled a new logo for our work!
