Sung Latin Mass! Palestrina's Missa Brevis, Sat July 8th 5pm @ Saints Cyril and Methodius in Lemont

Please join us as we celebrate the feast of the great missionaries Saints
Cyril and Methodius at their beautiful church in Lemont, built by Polish immigrants in the 1920s!

The music will be Palestrina's splendid "Missa Brevis" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tku8ceGJ4dk&t=12s and
the Mass will conclude with Tchaikovsky's hymn in honor of the saints, set to the composer's English translation for the very first time by VBP's own music director, Chad McCoy!

Lemont is about 45 minutes Southwest of Downtown Chicago and the parish is just a few minutes off I-55. Please take Saturday afternoon traffic into account!

Thank you so much to all 99 people who attended VBP's June Mass at the Chapel of the Holy Spirit in Techny! It was a beautiful Mass and we are grateful to the Society of the Divine Word for their hospitality!
